It’s been 6 years since Bjorn Formosa started ALS Malta. Throughout these years he worked tirelessly to help patients like him live a better life. In 2017, The first DAR Bjorn in Qormi was inaugurated, yet it was too small to cater all neurological patients in Malta.

Together with his team, Bjorn in 2018 embarked on a journey to open the second neurological home that will cater much more patients. The Newer & Bigger DAR Bjorn will be a top of the notch medical facility in Zebbug, Malta. It will be plotted on 7 floors, each totalling more than 650sqm of living space.

The new facility will feature;

• 30+ beds,
• an indoor pool,
• gymnasium,
• chapel,
• shop,
• cafeteria,
• clinics,
• art gallery
• fully fledged terrace.

DAR Bjorn is a €5 million project. €4 million have already been collected in three years and a further €926K is needed to open this project.
